Dear Class of 2024 graduate and professional students,
Commencement 2024 at Vanderbilt University is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Graduates Day is scheduled for May 9, and Commencement ceremonies for graduate and professional schools will be on campus on May 10.
We will make an announcement soon about this year’s Graduates Day speaker and event details, and we will share information about other Commencement-related events as plans are finalized. For now, we are excited to share some initial details:
Graduate and professional school ceremonies
- Commencement for graduate and professional students will be at various locations on campus on May 10. Colleges and professional schools will release information about their locations in the coming weeks.
- Students will receive information from their respective campus organizations about graduate recognition ceremonies in the days leading up to Commencement.
Regalia
All graduates taking part in Commencement must wear Vanderbilt’s regalia (cap and gown) to participate in person at Commencement ceremonies.
- Regalia for the Class of 2024 is available here. The deadline for ordering is March 29, 2024.
- Doctoral graduates may rent or buy regalia. If you wish to buy your regalia, please note the deadline for ordering is March 1, 2024. There is no late order option.
