LEGO Club

Members of LEGO Club learned about building in play features to their creations from youth leader Owen H. This might be creating a wall that slides, something in the design that moves. or breaks apart. Check out some highlights on the FDL Co 4-H Facebook page. You might see a jumping monkey and a flying duck.
The monthly Build Challenge for April's meeting is something Mythical. Use your imagination as this could be a unicorn, dragon, gnome, zombie, werewolf, bigfoot, or your own mythical creature!

Multi-state "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" 4-H
Photo Contest

Minnesota 4-H Photography is excited to offer another multi-state photography contest open to youth in grades K-13!
Select your best photo (with no or minimal editing) and submit it with up to two sentences that explains why it’s special to you! More information and rules for the challenge can be found at: 4-H Hit Me with Your Best Shot Photo Contest | UMN Extension with rules available here.
Submit one (1) jpg or jpeg image and statement to fourhphoto@umn.edu by 11:59 p.m. (CST) on May 1, 2024. Volunteer 4-H photography judges will provide feedback via a slideshow. Top photos will be recognized with a prize and random prize drawing winners will also receive a gift.

4-H Sheboygan County Cat Show

The 29th annual cat show will be held on April 28 in Sheboygan. Participants from other counties are welcome. Registration deadline is April 13. For more information check the Sheboygan County 4-H Cat Project Facebook page or email us at sheboygan4hcatproject@gmail.com. The show poster and entry forms are attached.

State 4-H Horse Educational Contests

Reminder, 4-H Horse Educational Contest entries for Speaking and Demonstration, Horse Bowl, and Hippology are due April 1st. Entry information can be found in the WI 4-H Horse Handbook under Chapter 5 in Education Days. More details about each contest can be found in Chapter 4 in the Educational Guidelines. 4-H Horse Handbook Link

Save the Date: 2024 Cloverbud Day Camp

We will be offering 3 different Cloverbud camps on Wednesday, June 26, July 31, and August 14. Cloverbud Day Camp is open to any youth who have completed grades Kindergarten-2nd. The camp themes will be Buzz, Flutter, Crawl, STEM, and Teddy Bear Adventures. Cloverbuds can join us for one or all 3 days for some hands-on learning. More information will be coming soon!

Connecting Volunteers: The Heart of 4-H 

In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week, join us for one of two zooms to Connect with Volunteers!  Local 4-H programs rely on caring adult volunteers, and we want to celebrate you and build connections!  All 4-H volunteers are encouraged to join in an hour-long zoom to network with other 4-H volunteers, and enjoy small group discussions to share ideas and learn from others.  To register for the zoom, click on one of these links:

We are recruiting adult advisors for this year's Summer Academy! This is a youth program for middle-high school aged youth where they will get the opportunity to learn about different Spark interests and discover post-secondary opportunities for themselves.
