As we mark one month since the devastating attacks by Hamas on Israel, our Jewish community continues to demand the immediate release of the hostages and mourn alongside the families of the victims. We have gathered in solidarity with Israel and one another, collectively raised more than $13 million for the crisis relief efforts, and are supporting the organizations on the ground working to meet essential needs. Learn more about our efforts to date here, and join us on November 14th as we March for Israel – more details on that below.

Federation's Next Gen Awards Flash Philanthropy Grants to HIAS and JCRC
On October 26th, a passionate group of leaders in their 20s and 30s gathered for Flash Philanthropy: a one-night-only experience to explore the Jewish values that drive their philanthropy and discover the power of collective giving. Participants heard from nine local organizations focused on tikkun olam (repairing the world), and worked in giving circles to philanthropic grants in support of the work that inspired them. The grantees included HIAS, which received $10,000 for their work with refugees the Jewish Community Relations Council, which received $4,500 for their advocacy on behalf of our Jewish community.
