Election Day is Tuesday, Nov 6th!

If you are eligible to vote and need help figuring out who to vote for, please visit BallotReady.org. UIC will host an early voting site from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 through Nov. 2 in 613 Student Center East. Early voting on campus is available to all Chicago residents.

During the 2014 Midterm Election, only 18.9 percent of UIC students voted, compared with the 2016 Presidential Election, when 55 percent of UIC students voted. UIC aims to increase student voter participation in the 2018 Midterm Election from 18.9 percent to 29 percent this year.

UIC is hosting an election day watch party! Don't be alone when the results trickle in. Tuesday, November 6th from 7 pm - 9 pm in Student Center East Inner Circle.

STEM Internships for students aboard E/V Nautilus in 2019
The Ocean Exploration Trust (OET) is now accepting applications for students and educators to participate in the 2019 E/V Nautilus Expedition exploring the Eastern Pacific Ocean along the coast of North America from Canada to Mexico! All interns spend their time at sea standing watches and working among a wide array of scientists, engineers, students, and educators. Accepted students will have the chance to sail aboard E/V Nautilus for 2-4 weeks learning from experts in the field. For program specifics and detailed application packets, visit: www.oet.org
