Songwriter and bluegrass stalwart Ronnie Bowman died at 64 on Sunday, March 22. Bowman wrote chart-topping songs for Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, George Strait and many others. He also earned numerous International Bluegrass Music Association awards as an artist, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. Read more
- Renowned songwriter Chip Taylor died on Monday, March 23, at age 86. Taylor was best known for his biggest hits "Wild Thing" and "Angel of the Morning," and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2016. Read more
