The Nebraska Arts Council partners with the Nebraska Governor’s Residence each year to display the artwork of Nebraska artists on the walls of the building’s main conference room. This unique space allows civic leaders, citizens, school children and other visitors the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the diversity of statewide artistic talent.
Photographs by Jonna Childers-Hansen will be on display in the residence December 15, 2017 – March 9, 2018, with public tours on Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. To request an appointment (recommended for groups of 10 or more), contact Residence Director Leisa Ausdemore at (402) 471-3466.

About the Artist: Jonna Childers-Hansen derives passion from creating visual brilliance and experience through her photography.  Further, she explores the arts through design and painting. Her vivid photographic experiences include landscapes, animals, abstracts, and unusual views.
