Alumni and Friends,
Welcome to the latest issue of E-Viewpoints, the Texas Tech University College of Human Sciences newsletter. This past semester our students, faculty, staff, and alumni have demonstrated the college’s mission of improving and enhancing human health and wellness through a variety of outreach and engagement opportunities.
This issue features significant achievements over the past months that highlight the people that make up our college. Among many other accolades, our college has celebrated the significant achievement of the Department of Community, Family, and Addiction Sciences receiving the TTU Excellence in Teaching Award. We have also been encouraged in witnessing faculty, students, and alumni attending conferences to share their knowledge and broaden their own experiences. As a new graduating class showcases their years of hard work and enters the world, we are continually making strides in providing a quality learning experience. As always, I am proud to share these stories.
We have received some wonderful stories during these past few months from our alumni and friends, and I encourage you to keep sharing your latest news and updates. We look forward to hearing about your latest endeavors.
Tim Dodd, Ph.D.
Dean, College of Human Sciences
