Holocaust survivor to share experiences; nearly $3 million earmarked for culinary facility design; ranking recognizes support for National Guard students; and more
IUP presents two upcoming events that explore the pursuit of education and career goals in the Amish and Mennonite communities. Ordnung, an Amish Ballet, about an Amish girl who aspires to a career in the arts, will be performed November 10–12 in Waller Hall. A panel discussion on education rights in these communities takes place November 9 at 11:00 a.m. in Stapleton Library.
Oscar Singer of Pittsburgh, who was 14 when Nazi Germany occupied his village in Poland and who was the only member of his family to survive the labor and concentration camps, will speak Thursday, November 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room.
