Review Proposals for NATA 2021
Volunteers are needed to review proposals for the 72nd NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo. This role is vital to ensure the quality and relevance of the convention educational programming to members. Last year, we received almost 300 proposals needing review. Each volunteer will review 10 to 20 proposals between Aug. 1 and Aug. 15. Proposal reviewers must be certified ATs.

Video Demonstrates NATA Spine Injury in Sport Group Recommendations
The
Sports Institute at UW Medicine works to increase participation and safety in sports. In an ongoing effort to educate parents, coaches and medical personnel on best practices in sports safety, it produced a short educational film demonstrating new NATA-recommended techniques for emergent treatment of athletes with a suspected cervical spine injury. These recommendations were presented by the NATA Spine Injury in Sport Group in the latest
Journal of Athletic Training.
