Be Among the First to Show Your Support for the Rutherford County Work Ethic Distinction

Beginning in Fall 2017, high school seniors will have the chance to earn a Rutherford County Work Ethic Distinction, which indicates they are "work ready."  This concept is in its second successful year in Hamblen County, Tennessee with nearly 50% of seniors earning this distinction in 2017.  Rutherford County has taken this great idea and made it our own.

To receive the Rutherford County Work Ethic Distinction, seniors earn points during their senior year in 13 different employment standards, including attendance, tardiness, discipline, earning an industry certification, community service and more.

The Rutherford County Chamber and Rutherford Works are partnering with Rutherford County Schools to support students earning this distinction by recruiting companies who will guarantee an interview to students who have earned this distinction and who meet the job specific requirements for an open position.

To join this initiative, please fill out this short form.  Your logo will appear on the printed Rutherford County Work Ethic Distinction folder which each senior will receive in August and your logo,  hyperlinked to your website, will appear on the Rutherford Works website.
