CPL Fellow Rishikesh Ram Bhandary is heading into the field to investigate climate finance from the vantage point of developing countries. He begins in Bangladesh where he is investigating which types of climate finance institutions are most efficient in attracting international climate finance, and which are most effective at delivering finance to implement policy. He will continue his global research later this year in Fiji, Indonesia, Brazil, Guyana and Ethiopia. In Fiji, the Nepali-born expert will be collaborating with UNDP on a workshop with the Fiji government on how to set up climate trust funds, with special emphasis on South-South learning.
