Dear Fellow Alumni,
As I begin my first year as president of the Fordham Law Alumni Association (FLAA), I am honored to lead the FLAA and work closely with our committed alumni. I am also excited about the new developments at Fordham Law School.
I am thrilled Joseph Landau is our new dean. Joe’s extensive experience, dynamism, and profound commitment to our community make him an outstanding leader of our Law School.
In addition, the FLAA is finalizing the implementation of its third strategic plan. Some of the highlights of the plan include expanding and strengthening our alumni connections and activities across the globe, enhancing FLAA engagement with law students to create a pipeline of young alumni who will lead the FLAA, and acting on our motto, “In the Service of Others,” by engaging in volunteer and community programs.
Renewing your membership to the FLAA—or joining for the first time—profoundly strengthens our community and helps fund these alumni initiatives. Ultimately, the strength of our network depends on you—your participation in our varied alumni and CLE programs, your hiring of Fordham lawyers, and your mentoring of Fordham Law students and recent graduates. Your annual membership contribution also provides Fordham Law alumni with certain member benefits, such as discounts on CLEs, access to the law library, and other discount programs.
Please consider paying your dues online today. Thank you for your ongoing commitment and dedication to our Law School.
Sincerely,
Brenda L. Gill ’95
President, Fordham Law Alumni Association
