Dear Friends, 

What an incredible day we all had together at YL’s annual Fundraising Luncheon. We raised $64,000 of our $176,000 goal! Thank you to all who came out to be with us and to all of you who so generously give of your finances, your prayer, and your efforts to support this mission.

At the banquet, several people shared about how Young Life, and ultimately Jesus, has forever changed their lives. Over the next few months, we'll be highlighting those testimonies in hopes that you will be inspired and encouraged by how God is using Young Life in New Orleans.

We are also very excited to announce that the Rotary Club of Belle Chasse has written a grant to support our ministry to teen moms! The Rotary Club of Belle Chasse along with the ministry of YoungLives will be hosting Dine & Discover nights on September 25 and October 30 where young mothers are invited to enjoy a meal together while learning about healthcare, employment opportunities, and more. 

We pray you continue to see Jesus be moved by compassion on your behalf and on behalf of your adolescent friends. We are grateful to have you as part of our missional community!
