Conversations with local public health officials indicate that community spread of COVID-19 remains steady in the city of Oneonta and Otsego County.
You can give yourself extra protection from COVID, the flu, and other viruses while out and about by washing your hands regularly and wearing a mask, especially in crowded places where you don't know the vaccination or testing rate of others. Remember to test when required by the college, test if you have symptoms, and report it to the college if you test positive.
While hospitalizations remain low, it is still important to take precautions to help yourself and our college community remain healthy for the last few weeks of the semester.
