Join Us for Dragon Dialogues: Programming for St M Parents

Wednesday, October 5, 8-9:15 a.m., Lower School Library
  • TOPIC: Flusterclux Conversation on Season 5, Episode 1- The Back to School Message Every Parent Needs to Hear

The return to school is exciting for children and their parents alike. Picking out water bottles and backpacks, choosing back-to-school outfits, and seeing friends are all part of the fun. Then comes the dreaded homework battle. This episode of Flusterclux is geared toward helping parents to make peace with homework. Listen to the episode above in advance and then join us at this coffee where Dr. Kim Hilton (St M's consulting school psychologist) and St M Division Directors will answer your homework questions, along with other questions about how we can best set our children up to be successful learners this year and beyond.
Wednesday, October 19, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Perkinson Arts Center
  • TOPIC: Our St. Michael's Episcopal Identity
Our School’s mission statement refers to providing children with “...an environment that acknowledges and develops Christian values.” What does that mean to an Episcopal school? Join your administrative team, the Very Rev. Dr. Jeunée Godsey and Christian Hansen in a discussion that helps to explain how the teachings of the Episcopal Church inform our School’s mission and our everyday decision-making process. Join us for this important conversation.
Please RSVP below to attend.
More Dragon Dialogues are being planned for upcoming months as well!
