As the fall semester unfolds, the Missouri School of Journalism is buzzing with activity. From the electric atmosphere surrounding Mizzou football to our students diving into Missouri Method training, the campus is alive with purpose. This month we celebrated 116 years of the J-School as part of our annual Founder's Day celebration. We also highlighted the achievements of several industry leaders at our Honor Medal ceremony, setting a dynamic tone for the months ahead. Read on to learn more about our fall semester highlights.

This month, J-School alumni and friends — a few of whom we profiled here — gave $19.08 in honor of the School’s founding year. Thank you to everyone who participated in this gesture of support for the newest generation of journalism and strategic communication students. If you missed out, there's still time to give.

An upcoming exhibit at the Reynolds Journalism Institute plans to feature photographs and other artifacts that showcase the sheer variety of work from our alumni, and we want your submissions! If you have photographs or interesting objects from your career that we can display, help us tell the tale of alums who are working throughout the world so that we can inspire current students with your creativity and passion.
