Climate Survey: It’s Not about the Weather

What do you think of your college environment? Do you feel welcome, safe, comfortable, respected? Through its upcoming climate survey, the State System is seeking these answers to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Participants—students, faculty, and staff—will be entered into prize drawings. Watch your IUP email starting Monday for messages from Viewfinder, the System’s survey partner.
Hilliary Creely, who had been serving as interim dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research, was recently appointed to the permanent position. She came to IUP in 2010 as assistant dean for research and served as associate dean before leading the school after Randy Martin’s 2020 retirement.
From Victorian gowns to paper dresses from the ’60s to disco don’ts from the ’70s, an array of unusual apparel belonging to IUP Fashion Studies will be featured in the University Museum exhibit Treasures from the Wardrobe, opening February 5.
