Senior Spotlight

Dylan, a senior at ACC, studies Exercise Science. Throughout the pandemic he has continued to work towards his career goal of becoming a group fitness instructor. He is taking online classes, studying for his group fitness instructor certification exam, leading workouts for student happy hours, and maintaining employment with two gyms. Virtual Open House:
GOAL at UNC

Go On and Learn (GOAL) is an inclusive higher education option at the University of Northern Colorado for students with intellectual and developmental (I/DD) disabilities. Join GOAL for a virtual open house on December 3rd, 5:30-6:30pm.

This event is open to prospective students, families, teachers, or anyone else interested in learning more about college options for students with intellectual disabilities!

At this virtual open house, you will:

Learn about applying to UNC for fall 2021
Hear from a UNC student with I/DD
Meet GOAL staff and learn how they support students with I/DD
Get answers to other questions you might have

Have questions about college for your student with an intellectual disability? Join us for a Q & A session. Times available:

For the teachers out there, check out our new drop-in office hours.
In addition, we have one-on-one meeting times open to anyone!

General Webinars

Just starting to learn about inclusive higher education? Not sure what questions to ask or what schools to look at?

Our December webinars will talk about preparing for college, the college search and application process, and what a day in the life looks like for a college student with an intellectual disability.
Webinars will be: December 2, 5-6pm and December 10, 11am-12pm.
