Important Dates and Information |

July 15 is the deadline to submit pre-entrance health forms.

The annual Flu vaccine will be required for all JHU affiliates for 2024-25 flu season. JHU will host Flu vaccine clinics on campus for students beginning in September 2024. Flu vaccines are not required prior to arriving on campus. Please visit our Special Clinics page for more details.

September 15 is the deadline for domestic undergraduate students to opt out of student health insurance.

Health, wellness, fitness, and community are the guiding principles of the programs offered through the Ralph S. O’Connor Recreation Center. JHU’s health and fitness resources include club and intramural programs and fitness programs such as personal training and group fitness classes. Additional information about services and hours can be found on the Recreation Center website.

Center for Health Promotion and Well-Being |
The Center for Health Promotion and Well-Being cultivates and supports holistic well-being for individuals, relationships, groups, and the JHU community at large. Through programs, services, educational campaigns, and leadership and engagement opportunities, students can create positive habits and behaviors that will have a beneficial impact on academic success, personal development, and long-term health and well-being. Student Health and Wellness Center
|
The Student Health and Wellness Center provides holistic care to the JHU student population. The SHWC offers urgent and routine care, nutritional therapy, massage, 24/7 nursing advice, and on-site lab and medication services for students in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering.
SHWC staff consists of board-certified physicians, nationally-certified nurse practitioners, a licensed dietitian, registered nurses, medical assistants, and a women’s health nurse practitioner.

The Counseling Center provides a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space where students can feel free to explore a variety of concerns and issues. The center offers a wide variety of services to assist all eligible Homewood and Peabody undergraduate and graduate students.
