Trapped for 27 Hours: A 9/11 Survivor’s Story of Faith and Hope |
Though most of today’s students were not yet born on September 11, 2001, its impact continues to shape our world. On Wednesday, September 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the Barrette Center, Cav Nation will hear firsthand from Genelle Guzman-McMillan, the last person pulled alive from the World Trade Center rubble. After surviving 27 hours trapped beneath the debris, Genelle emerged with a powerful story of faith, resilience, and hope. Following her talk, join us for a reception and book signing of Angel in the Rubble. Students are encouraged to register at: www.walsh.edu/angel
This free event is made possible by Christ the King Apostolic Church, Christ the Servant and Little Flower Catholic parishes, and the Education for Life Colloquium with ongoing support from the Wilkof and Nolan families.
