Featured Spring '21 CourseART 100 - Intro to Studio Art
Susan Bickford will teach an in-person studio art course (class number 29114) on Fridays here at UMA Rockland. This course is designed specifically for non-art majors who wish to have an intro to studio experience - exploring techniques in drawing, design, painting and/or printmaking. ART 100 meets that fine arts core requirement!

Thanksgiving Recess
UMA's Thanksgiving recess is Wednesday, Nov 24th - Friday, Nov 26th. There are no classes held during that time. The UMA Rockland Center will be closed those days as well; however, we will be working remotely on Wednesday, Nov 24th. Please either call us at 207.596.6906 or send us an email. We will be checking both throughout the day.

The UMA Rockland Student Association is raffling off 3 pairs of FREE tickets to see the zydeco band Squirrel Nut Zippers perform live at The Strand on Thursday, Dec 9th (7:30pm)! Raffle is open to currently enrolled UMA students; one entry per student (you must be logged in to your University account to enter). Join 'Day of Giving' EventSponsored by United Midcoast Charities
The United Midcoast Charities (UMC) will once again this year be holding their 'Day of Giving' event on Saturday, Dec 18th. You can finish your last-minute shopping and pay it forward at the same time. Dozens of local retailers will be donating part of their day's proceeds to UMC, which provides much-needed funding to more than 50 agencies in Knox and Waldo counties.
