MLK Jr. Day: How to Honor His Dream

On Saturday, January 25, the Community Service Learning Center will hold their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Solidarity. Staff, faculty, and students will join members of the community for a keynote message and service project afterwards. The event will educate participants on the enduring legacy of the civil rights movement and encourage them to follow in MLK’s footsteps.

100 Miles of Activity in 9 Weeks: Meet the TREK100 Challenge

Looking for a fun way to be more active? Your fellow Lakers can hold you accountable and help you reach your fitness goals through the TREK100 Challenge! The goal of the challenge is to complete 100 miles of activity before Feb. 28. The online dashboard allows you to track your physical activity as well as compete against other participants. Plus, let’s not forget the free t-shirt you can win when you hit those 100 miles! Registration is open now through Jan. 31.
