A day that many Thunderbirds have been waiting for finally came. July 1, 2026, marked our official return home to the Big Sky Conference, while the nationally ranked Flippin' Birds officially began their membership in the PAC-12 Conference.

Rodeo Team Captures Historic Win

Marking a major milestone in University history, the SUU Men's Rodeo Team captured the 2026 Rocky Mountain Regional Championship for the first time since the program's inception. The T-Birds took that momentum to the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming, finishing the season ranked No. 9 in the country as a team.

SUU Prepared Her for Harvard

Annie Weight, a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in anthropology, has been accepted into the Master of Divinity program at Harvard. From an excellent capstone to several fulfilling study abroad programs, Annie gained the experiences and academic perspectives on religion through SUU's high quality and personalized education.
