Condoleezza Rice to Speak at Commencement

Southern Utah University is thrilled to announce that Condoleezza Rice, the 66th Secretary of State of the United States and former National Security Advisor, will serve as the University's 2022 Commencement Speaker.

We invite you to participate in Founders Week, March 21-25, as we honor and recognize our first founders and modern-day founders. This week will also kick off a year of festivities as we Celebrate 125 Years of SUU.

Dr. Allen C. Guelzo will present "Ten True Lies About Abraham Lincoln" on Tuesday, March 22, at 11:30 a.m. in the Gilbert Great Hall as part of the 2022 SUU Founders Celebration. We invite you to participate in person or via SUTV's live streaming.

Dr. Temple Grandin Presents on Autism

Dr. Grandin recently spoke at an SUU A.P.E.X. Event about her trailblazing work with autism. Her life's work has been to understand her own autistic mind and then share that knowledge with the world and aid in the treatment of individuals with the condition.

New Civil Engineering Major

Beginning fall semester 2022, our Department of Engineering and Technology will offer a brand new major in civil engineering, adding to an already robust curriculum in our area’s only accredited higher education engineering program.
