New Parent Newsletter - May 19

To help keep newly enrolled families on track, we are pleased to share the third issue of the New Parent Newsletter, which includes important information about time-sensitive items.

You will receive the final New Parent Newsletter on June 2. After that date, you will receive the June, July, and August editions of the Weekly Way newsletter, which is sent to all current parents.

Previous issues of the newsletter and full details regarding the information below are available on the New Parent Page at
marist.com/newparent, which we will continue to update through the summer.
Auditions for Fall Theater Production Today
Auditions for the fall theater production for 9th through 12th graders will be held in person Thursday, May 19 from 3:45 - 5:30 p.m. in Woodruff Auditorium. Interested in joining the cast or crew? Contact Theater Director Mr. Eric McNaughton.
Peer Leaders
Peer leaders enjoyed meeting their peer kids at Sunday’s War Eagle Welcome! New students who exchanged contact information at the event can expect to hear directly from their peer leaders in the next few weeks to plan an in-person get together. All peer leaders also are provided with parents’ contact information to help get the ball rolling.

Peer leaders will be in touch with new students throughout the summer, and each peer group will host a social in August. Parents will receive an Evite toward the end of July. Parents should also be on the lookout for an email in early June from peerleader@marist.com with contact information for the families in your child’s peer group. We hope that information helps you to connect with other new families before the start of the school year.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Peer Leader team with any questions. Peer leaders are excited to get to know their peer kids and to support them as they begin their Marist journey!
