Hello Friends,
It was wonderful to finally begin our TC17 journey together. We were so pleased with the number of people who were able to attend in-person and also that so many were willing to begin virtually. And we are grateful for the technology that allowed us to be together. We introduced ourselves, we received teaching and responded with heartfelt questions and sharing, we prayed and worshipped together.... and we began.

Do you know anyone in the community?
Please let us know if you have any connection at all with other members of TC17. When forming your groups for group spiritual direction it's important that the relationships are pure and separate from all other relationships in your life.

If you have been diagnosed with Covid 19 since being together, please let us know in case others who were in-person need to be alerted.
Virtual experience
If you have any feedback you would like to offer, we'd be happy to receive it. We don't intend to become a virtual experience long-term but do want to facilitate community to the extent that we are able in the current environment.

If you have moved or your email changed since your application to TC17, please let us know in order to keep our communications up-to-date.
Levels of participation
Please be praying about the level of engagement that is right for you. The different opportunities are described in your blue handout and we encourage you to be very discerning about this—especially if you have a tendency toward performance/achievement-oriented drivenness that might prevent you from simply being with God for your own soul's sake. If you need help discerning this, please reply to this e-mail and one of us will reach out to you.
A word from Ruth
Thank you for the grace with which you engaged this unusual retreat experience. Some day we will all be together the way we would like (and what a day of rejoicing that will be!) but for now, we are simply glad we could embark on this important journey. Thankfully, we seek a God who is always looking for ways to come to us, and we certainly experienced that on this retreat as God’s presence transcended so many obstacles. My one regret is that I did not get a chance to fully acknowledge and thank the amazing team that worked tirelessly to host us all. I look forward to being able to introduce them more fully when we can all be together in the same room but for now, thanks be to them and thanks be to God!
