Magic Dragon Day Needs
Stuffed Animals COLLECTED THIS WEEK: The beloved Pet Palace, where students can use Magic Dragon Day tickets to select a stuffed animal friend, returns to Magic Dragon Day this year!
- DONATIONS NEEDED: Please bring in your washed, gently-used stuffed animals! SMPA volunteers will be at morning carpool collecting stuffed animal donations THIS Tuesday and Wednesday, April 26-27, from 7:20-8 a.m.
Volunteer for Class Booths:
- Room parents for each grade level sent out Sign-Up Genius links for parents to register for shifts for their class carnival game booths. Thank you for signing up to help!

Middle School Wellness Day
Research has shown that the academic success of students is strongly linked to their health, with healthier students being better learners.
On Monday, April 25, our Middle Schoolers will participate in St M's fifth Health and Wellness Day, exploring the topics of Posture and Alignment for overall health, Mindfulness and Yoga, and Cyber/Technology Safety.
Dr. Kim Hilton, St. M's consulting psychologist/school counselor, will give the keynote presentation on Sleep and Mental Health and Wellness. Students will also partake in a mindfulness-focused campus hike with Mr. Underwood, our outdoor education teacher.

Well-Prepared Graduates
This past week, St. Michael's was delighted to receive the following note from the family of a recent graduate.
"My son and I were talking after I picked him up from school the other day. As he reviewed what he had done in class, he paused and said, 'St. Michael's really prepared me for high school.' He explained that he felt ahead of his classmates in English, social studies, mathematics, and science.
I know that sometimes teachers' recognition is delayed; students realize at a remove the significance of past lessons. It is a testament to the quality of instruction at St. Michael's that my son quickly recognized how tremendous his teachers were. He reaps the rewards of a St. Michael's education every day.
Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for your love of teaching. Thank you for your excellence."

LAST CALL: Get your Seussical JR. Tickets!
It's SHOWTIME this week! Musical theater makes a triumphant return to our Middle School stage, April 28-30, as St. Michael's proudly presents: Seussical JR!
Fun for all ages, two of the shows have already SOLD OUT so get your tickets today! Limited tickets are still available for the Saturday, April 30, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows.
Tickets are $10 and are non-refundable. The show is about an hour and includes a short intermission.
CONCESSIONS: The eighth grade class will be selling concessions at all the performances with the proceeds going towards the class gift they present to the School at graduation, so please bring cash!

Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben will contact the family. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
