Campbellsport 4-H

Here are pictures from recent Campbellsport 4-H meetings. At the January meeting, the club made sleds out of popsicle sticks. In February, the club went tubing at Sunburst and made Valentines for residents at a local long-term care facility. Our March meeting has been moved to a week earlier, 3/3 at 6:30 pm, due to a scheduling conflict at the Campbellsport Library.

The Rosendale 4-H club met on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church.

After the pledge, we had the Secretary’s and Treasurer's report. Then, we talked about the Culver’s fundraiser. We made $325. We had fun and will do it again.

For new business, we talked about the Market Livestock orientation, which is on March 3rd at 7:00 p.m, in the Rec. building.  Then, we talked about Art Beat, which will be on March 15-16 at Upham Woods for third through fifth graders. Family Learning Day is on Saturday, February 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the FDL County campus. Teen Leaders will meet on February 24th at 7:00 p.m. at Rolling Meadows.

Our next meeting will be on Sunday, March 9th, at Peace Lutheran Church at 5:00 p.m.  We will be making tie blankets to donate to the Fire/Police department. The club will supply ice cream.  Please bring a topping to share with the club.

After the meeting, we made Valentine’s Day cards for the residents at Tower View.  We were also going to play BINGO with the residents, but they had too many sick residents.  A member’s mom dropped off our cards and some chocolate.      -

Art Beat 2025

Who’s Got the Beat!
As we settle into the rhythms of winter, it is a perfect time to think about art and our next major 4-H State Arts activity, Art Beat! Actually, when isn’t a good time to think about art? Art Beat is for any 4-H member in grades 3-5 and will be held at Upham Woods March 15-16. You can register through 4HOnline. Applications will be open January 20-February 17 or until the camp fills.

What is it?
Art Beat is a 4-H, hands-on, interactive art experience in beautiful Upham Woods in the Wisconsin Dells. Participants will learn to juggle, make visual arts, create a STEAM project, explore music, and much, much more. Art Beat is led by older 4-H youth and professional artists in a variety of disciplines from painting, theater, textiles, and music. 4-Hers will also get to experience an overnight camp adventure. The goal of Art Beat is to help young people to explore their artistic sparks.
