Hi All, What an exciting week in Dodge County! This week 4-H Alum Alexis Luedtke (alumni of Leipsic) represented the Dodge County Fair at the WI Fairs Convention and competed in the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair contest. She ended up in the Top Ten in the competition. Way to go Alexis!
Later this week, I reached out to Cameron Pokorny (Achievers) representing Dodge County 4-H as a National 4-H Tech Changemaker to speak on WBEV's Community Comment with Extension. He did an awesome job explaining 4-H Tech Changemakers, and some of the challenges with technology facing our community. If you would like to listen to more of his interview you can find HERE!
Both of these individuals did a wonderful job sharing their communication skills. As a reminder, 4-H members can share their communication skills later this month by attending the 4-H Speaking Contest! You can register through your 4-HOnline profile.
4-H Archery began this week with a great turnout of youth and parents for the Orientation session at the Horicon Bowmen Club. Thanks to Jessie and Eva Lynch (Neosho Utopians) for being the 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinators.
We have more project meetings coming up in the next couple weeks. Thanks to all those 4-H volunteers who are taking leadership with the county projects and programs.
Please feel free to contact me with questions, and I look forward to a great 2022!
