SUITS & SPOOKS 2020 DC FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT CCEI - NEW MUSEUM PROJECT
The 10th Anniversary Suits and Spooks DC takes place Feb 6-7, 2020 at the Spy Museum. The theme is “Taking Ownership of our Security Challenges for the Next 10 Years,” and the keynote speaker will be General Stan McChrystal (U.S. Army, retired).
We are happy to announce that Suits and Spooks DC has chosen to support the effort to build the new Cyber Center for Education and Innovation (CCEI) - Home of the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM), and thus is offering a $100 discount on conference registration to anyone who makes at least a $100 donation to the NCMF. CCEI NEWS - Three-Way Education Partnership, Virtual Education via Nepris, and Cybersecurity Curriculum Framework Update

Exciting New Partnership

In September, the CCEI, University of MD Global Campus, and NSA's National Cryptologic School signed a trilateral agreement to support the nation's cybersecurity by enhancing access to quality cybersecurity educational materials and opportunities. All three parties will discuss this new three-way agreement at CyberMaryland in December. MORE.

CCEI Dives Into Virtual Education 

The CCEI now has an online classroom via the virtual education platform established by Nepris.com. CCEI Education Director Mark Loepker has hosted online industry chats and recently hosted a variety of chats for National Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week. The CCEI is excited about taking full advantage of this opportunity to promote cybersecurity education to a global audience. MORE.

Cybersecurity Curriculum Seeks Feedback

The CCEI has launched a Cybersecurity Curriculum Framework to serve as an outline of what to include in a high school "Intro to Cybersecurity" course. The Framework provides students with a foundation in cybersecurity, but also strives to develop critical thinkers with a cybersecurity mindset. If you are an educator or cybersecurity professional, consider exploring the Framework and offering your feedback. MORE.
