Students Explore Their Futures at Pathways to Success Fair |
More than 460 students explored their futures at IVC’s 4th Annual Pathways to Success Fair on October 1. The event gave students a hands-on way to discover IVC’s 10 Interest Areas—from Arts and Humanities to Science and Engineering—and learn about the degrees, certificates, and career options tied to each. Students met with faculty, counselors, and staff who helped them connect their passions to potential programs and careers. The fair also featured interactive booths and plenty of opportunities to ask questions about majors, transfer goals, and career planning. See Pathways to Success Fair Photos »

IVC Dance Performs at the 19th Annual San Pedro Festival of the Arts |
IVC’s Dance Department was selected to perform at the 19th Annual San Pedro Festival of the Arts, held in September, at Peck Park in San Pedro. The department performed “Tethered,” a contemporary work exploring interdependence, boundaries, and collective resilience. Seven IVC dancers performed in a connected-skirt costume, symbolizing unity and shared momentum through movement. The festival offered students a valuable opportunity to engage with the broader dance community, gain professional performance experience, and represent IVC on a regional stage.
