Alumna summits world’s sixth-highest mountain |
The temperature was minus 31 degrees. The oxygen level was dangerously thin. And Nicole Ostertag, BSBA’12, MBA’16, was running on just a few hours of sleep. Forty years ago this month, Jerry Pfeifer, BS’86, was killed in a car accident. He would have graduated from Creighton a week later. Kiley Melean, BFA’23, fully immersed herself in Omaha’s theater scene and dedicated her time to educating kids as the assistant show choir director at Russell Middle School. | Creighton changed her life |
During her four years on campus, Kathryn McGovern essentially said “yes” to, well, everything. She led retreats, joined a choir, worked with disabled children, went on service trips and taught in a Dominican Republic elementary school. She graduates this week with an overwhelming amount of gratitude for her time at Creighton. Read more.
