EMD Serono has selected Erland, Page Southerland Page, Inc., and BR+A Consulting Engineers to renovate an existing 290-square-foot core laboratory situated on the second floor of the Bourne Building and relocate a Hamilton robotic freezer from the first floor to this space, all while ensuring seamless operations. The focus of this occupied renovation will be on the meticulous decommissioning and reinstallation of this critical equipment without causing disruptions.
In addition to installing the cold storage equipment, the existing laboratory’s mechanicals, including life safety and fire protection systems, will also be upgraded. The renovation will contribute to the company’s ongoing commitment to providing medicines, drug-delivery devices, and support services for patients with difficult-to-treat diseases.
This is Erland’s twelfth project with EMD Serono. We look forward to being back on their evolving life science campus.
