FAFSA

The Federal Application for Financial Aid opened October 1 and current college students must reapply each year in order to receive financial aid again. Early submission is highly encouraged in case you run into any issues submitting your application. 

CSS Profile

In order to award financial aid some colleges and universities require students submit the CSS Profile in addition to the FAFSA. If your school requires the CSS Profile you must submit it every year. Many schools have CSS Profile deadlines in early January!

  • Academic University Scholarship

    Amount: $1,000
    GPA Requirement: 3.0
    Description: Scholarship is open to current, full-time students enrolled in an accredited university or college in the United States with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Applicant must submit an essay about a design, advertisement, creative work, or form of new media that influenced their perspective on a social issue.
  • Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship for Women Pilots

    GPA Requirement: N/A
    Description: Scholarships are open to women who are currently enrolled in an aviation or aerospace related degree program.
  • Employment Boost Academic Scholarship
    Closing Date:

    Amount: $1,000
    GPA Requirement: 3.6
    Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who have at least a 3.6 GPA. Scholarship is open to students worldwide, but student must be attending college in the U.S. In addition to the general scholarship, there is a scholarship open only to students studying in a Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields. For the general scholarship, applicant must read and interpret a given poem. For the STEM scholarship, applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to technology.
  • Fundera College Scholarship

    GPA Requirement: N/A
    Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students in the United States. Applicant must be a young entrepreneur. Student must submit a video on a topic related to building your business without much money.
  • JMJ Phillip Group College Scholarship

    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who will be majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math).
  • IAAP Education Foundation Scholarship

    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, graduate, and current undergraduate students from Illinois who are/will be majoring in Civil Engineering, Engineering Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Geological Engineering, Mineral Science, Mining Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • MarvelOptics.com Scholarship Essay Contest

    Description: Scholarships are open to women who have served or are serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard or the child of a woman who served honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Applicant must a current community college or certificate student with at least a 2.5 GPA or a current undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA.

    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students in the United States. Applicant must submit an essay on how they demonstrated leadership ability in their school, work, or community.

    Description: Scholarship is open to college freshmen enrolled as a full-time student in fall 2019 at any UNCF member institution at the time of application. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA, have demonstrated, unmet need, and be a permanent resident of South Los Angeles and/or surrounding areas.
  • Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship

    Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work (sociology, psychology, social sciences or a related field) at an accredited university. Applicant must have good academic standing and extracurricular experience working with children who have experienced neglect or abuse.
  • EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship Program

    Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are currently enrolled as a full-time 2nd year student in a four-year academic program; or transferring from a two-year to a four-year institution, or a 3rd year student in a five-year program. Applicant must be studying a discipline related to NOAA’s programs and mission at an accredited minority serving institution.
  • Idaho Advocates Scholarship

    Description: Scholarship is open to current and prospective students enrolled in an accredited U.S. college. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to distracted driving.
  • PanHellenic Scholarship Awards

    GPA Requirement: 3.5
    Description: Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are of Hellenic descent (applicant must have at least one great-grandparent with Hellenic roots). Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA.
  • R2C Scholarship

    Amount: $1,000
    GPA Requirement: N/A
    Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and legal residents who are starting a program of higher education (college or graduate school) within the next 12 months or are currently enrolled. Applicant must be 17 years of age or older and there is no maximum age limit. Applicant must share in three sentences of less why they are getting their degree.
  • Shred Nations Scholarship

    Amount: Up to $7,500
    GPA Requirement: 3.0
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students with at least a 3.0 GPA and have an interest in business, environmental studies or the shredding and recycling industry.
