Make plans to join us for an Artist Mixer + Quarterly Music Meetup, where guests will be treated to a screening of “The 72 Experience,” directed by Codie Gopher. Attendees will have a chance to meet Gopher as well as featured guests Rick and Angela Bradshaw and Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. The event will be emceed by Dray LaBorde.

This free social event provides an opportunity to learn more about the City's music initiatives and network with our growing music and creative communities. Everyone interested in helping our music scene reach its full potential is encouraged to come out and participate. An RSVP is required.

We’ve partnered with the Music Business Association to be the next stop for its acclaimed new Music Biz Roadshow traveling event series! Music Biz Roadshow creates the rooms where important conversations are held about the future of the music business. The event also spurs opportunities to connect with a variety of subject matter experts.

High-level panels and fireside chats with industry leaders will educate communities on today’s music ecosystem, while cocktail mixers will facilitate new relationships between members of the industry who may not have met otherwise. If your goal is to make it in music, you won’t want to miss it!

The Huntsville Music Office and Arts Huntsville are again teaming up to produce a music industry-related career and community expo to help connect people to job openings and volunteer opportunities within our music ecosystem. This free event is also a great way for various local businesses and nonprofits to make more meaningful connections with those in our community and encourage them to get more involved in their efforts!

Through Sept. 30

Blast Music, the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library’s music streaming service, is accepting submissions from Tennessee Valley artists through Sept. 30 in conjunction with Huntsville Music Month! Blast is the go-to destination to discover local music available in the Rocket City and North Alabama with more than 130 albums currently featured.

The Blast curator team listens to submissions and decides what music is added to the platform after each round. Those selected will have the option to sign Blast’s license agreement, upload a full album/EP to the streaming platform and receive an honorarium check.
