Dear ILR Community,
I hope this finds you and your loved ones safe, healthy, and joyful during this unusual summer. Like you, I've been successfully navigating my way through these unprecedented times, overcoming challenges I couldn’t have imagined just a few months ago. Our combined determination will serve us well in the upcoming months.
As we look toward the fall, COVID-19 is still with us. While we all wished to see the pandemic in our rearview mirror by now, we're not there yet. Therefore, with your safety at the core of its decision, the ILR Board of Directors has moved our fall programming online. Until we can safely meet in the classroom again, remote learning will provide us the connectedness we've been missing.
I certainly hope you'll join us for this new adventure in learning. With a positive attitude and a willingness to learn a few new tricks, I know we can accept this challenge, rise to the occasion, and make this fall a semester to remember. We are excited to have this option to open new doors we previously didn't know existed.
We are the Institute for Learning in Retirement. Together, let's embrace this opportunity and discover what a winning combination of resolve and optimism looks like.
