April is a month of momentum at Community Health Network!
As we celebrate National Volunteer Month, we’re reminded that care doesn’t stop at our doors—it’s powered by the volunteers who give their time, compassion, and presence to support patients and families every day.
This issue also marks an important moment of leadership, as the Community Health Network Foundation announces its new president and CEO, continuing a strong legacy of philanthropy that helps advance care across our communities.
And here in Westfield, that spirit of service and forward movement is especially clear—as we reflect on one year of care at the Westfield Medical Office Building and look ahead to what’s next for this growing campus.

Take a tour of the Westfield Medical Office Building, which celebrates one year in the Westfield community.

This month marks one year since Community Health Network opened the Westfield Medical Office Building, the first phase of our growing healthcare campus near 196th Street and U.S. 31.
Over the past year, the MOB has become a familiar place for neighbors to access primary and specialty care close to home—while the rest of the campus continues to take shape around it.
From the start, the Westfield MOB was designed to make healthcare easier to navigate. Patients can schedule appointments and check in ahead of time using MyChart, arrive without paperwork, and be greeted by friendly ambassadors who help guide them through their visit. Inside exam rooms, technology supports more personal, focused conversations between patients and providers—so care feels efficient, attentive, and human.
Today, the building offers a wide range of services, including primary care and multiple specialties—all in one convenient location—helping meet the needs of one of Indiana’s fastest‑growing communities.

We’re excited to share that our care teams from the Westfield Medical Office Building will be at the Westfield Farmer’s Market every week this summer!
As the proud presenting sponsor of the 2026 market season, Community Health Network is thrilled to support an event that brings nearly 1,500 neighbors together each Thursday evening at Grand Junction Plaza from May 7 through September 3. For us, this partnership is more than a logo on a banner — it’s a meaningful investment in the health and wellbeing of the Westfield community.
Each week, you’ll find a Community care team on site as a friendly, approachable resource for your family’s health. Stop by to meet physicians, ask questions, learn about services available right here in Westfield, or simply say hello while you browse your favorite local vendors.
We can’t wait to see you at the market this summer!

What’s new this month at the future hospital tower?
A lot! Construction is buzzing, and the tower is really starting to show its shape.
The building is rising. Concrete work is nearly wrapped up on the upper floors, and the penthouse slab is officially complete—marking a big milestone for the project.
Inside progress everywhere. Crews are hard at work building walls, installing utilities, and fireproofing across multiple floors. Elevator and stair systems are coming together, step by step.
Windows are going in. Exterior window framing and glass continue to be installed, giving the community its first real peek at what the finished building will look like.
Exterior coming soon. The outside of the tower is on track to be mostly complete by June—a major moment you’ll be able to see from the street.
Around the site:
The south entrance is closed through July 1 while permanent improvements are made. Everyone is entering through the north entrance, with clear signage to guide the way. See the video below to help you navigate the temporary changes.
Parking and utility work continues, including upgrades to the southwest lot and installation of major equipment that will help power and support the hospital.
Every month brings visible progress—and every step brings us closer to opening a new hospital tower built for this community. Stay tuned… there’s much more.

During National Volunteer Month, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the more than 500 volunteers who dedicate their time, energy, and compassion to Community Health Network. Their unwavering commitment is truly the heart of our organization, enhancing patient care, supporting our staff, and strengthening our connection to the communities we serve.
The dedication of our volunteers across all Community Health Network sites is truly remarkable. Their collective efforts translate into significant support for our operations and, most importantly, for our patients.
• Total Volunteers: 529 individuals
• Total Hours Contributed: 76,016
• Equivalent Full-Time Staff: This equates to approximately 37.77 full-time employees
Beyond the numbers, our volunteers embody the spirit of service. They are often the first friendly face a patient sees, the helpful hand guiding a visitor, or the quiet support that allows our clinical staff to focus on direct patient care.
We invite you to watch this special video celebrating Donna Jones, a truly dedicated volunteer who recently reached the remarkable milestone of 20,000 hours of service.
A big THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers!
