3 for 30 - Give

This week we have been focusing on one of the three main focuses of 3 for 30: Give. Monday's Better Together Podcast featured an interview with pastor/church planter Josh Bennett describing how Awaken Church has built a healthy volunteer culture. Josh shares how every believer is called to be on mission and no matter who you are in the church, you have a role to be serving.

Our weekly meme (below) focused on ways we can create a healthy volunteer culture in our churches and ministries.

The Nehemiah Challenge

Have you taken the Nehemiah Challenge? The Nehemiah Challenge involves reading the book of Nehemiah throughout 2022 and looking for lessons that can be applied to our current context.

The calendar below is a way for a group or congregation to focus on Nehemiah. The challenge is not intended to replace your current devotions or Bible reading schedule, since these passages can be read and prayed over in a few minutes. Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Perspectives on Costly Leadership explores the qualities and characteristics of Bonhoeffer that has made him popular among today’s evangelical Christians while also focusing on why the life, work, and action of Bonhoeffer should matter today. The importance of leadership legacy will be discussed along with connecting to Bonhoeffer as an example of a believer in Jesus who persisted in his convictions in the midst of significant opposition.

This week's prayer focus for IM is for missionaries with deficit accounts. Pray that God will supply the needed funds to keep them on the field in ministry.

WNAC Flourish Event March 26

WNAC invites all Free Will Baptist ladies and their friendsto join them for their Flourish event Saturday, March 26, at Central FWB Church in Huntington, WV. The theme for the event is "Grace in the Chaos." Speakers will address God's provision in our personal chaos.

Welch to Host Forum22

Welch plans to host its Forum22 Bible Conference on campus March 6-8. Featured speakers include Dr. Harry and Mrs. Cindy Reeder of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Jerry Nunes of Iglesia Cristiana Bautista, and Virgil Walker of G3 Ministries.

Reaching the World at Home

A simple, rewarding way to engage with our communities is to invest in youth and their families through athletic coaching. Whether it is football, tennis, soccer, or softball, your community may need coaches throughout the year for all age groups. This gives you the chance to get to know new families in a fun atmosphere. Showing the love of Christ through healthy competition is a great way to build the foundation for gospel-driven relationships.
