Rosendale January Meeting |
by Reporter Eli Curtis
The Rosendale 4-H club met on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 5 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church to learn about cookie decorating with Eve Clark. We started our meeting with pledges, roll call with our favorite winter activity, and then the Secretary and Treasurer’s reports. Our next meeting will be Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church. The club will supply the ice cream and bowls and members will bring toppings for sundaes!
For new business, we talked about New Family Orientation at the Fond du Lac County Campus on January 14 at 6 p.m. and Family Learning Day on February 28. Registration is open and is a great time to make projects for the fair. There are a lot of upcoming county events, like 4-H Meats Judging Contest on Jan. 31, 2026 at UW-Madison, 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl on Feb. 7 at UW-Green Bay, and the Teen Leaders meeting on Jan. 26 at 6:45 p.m. at Rolling Meadows meeting room. We also voted to change our meeting time for the February meeting from 5 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Our next meeting will be Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church for ice cream sundaes! The club will supply the ice cream, and all members should bring a topping to share!
