Chris Spellman, assistant director for leadership development in the Center for Student Leadership and Engagement, is helping establish a community of practice by bringing faculty and staff educators together from across the University to identify opportunities for student leadership development.
The Board of Trustees was notified yesterday that Kevin Guskiewicz has chosen to remain at Michigan State University for personal reasons. The national search had a robust pool of candidates, and the Board will be meeting soon to determine next steps. More information will be shared as it becomes available.

Art professor Drew Sisk combines traditional artistic methods and emerging technologies to reimagine the creative potential of graphic design. Through this interdisciplinary approach, coupled with his experience in both industry and academia, Sisk provides his students with an adaptable framework, which is essential in the age of artificial intelligence.

The August 31 performance evaluation deadline is quickly approaching for staff members in select budget centers. While the University launched Workday last week, staff members with an August 31 review deadline will complete their annual performance review in OnBase-Performance. Planning stages and performance evaluations will begin in Workday on September 1.
