Annie Get Your Gun: Just two more weekends!
Annie Get Your Gun
She's quick on the trigger! Annie Oakley (Stephanie Newman) is ready to prove she's the "champeen" sharp-shooter of the world as Annie Get Your Gun continues on our stage through May 1.

And the nominees are . . .
Who gave your favorite performance last year? We want to know!

Every two years, we give out Spotlight Awards to recognize the achievements of our talented cast and crew members. Over 20 awards will be given this year, including: Best Actor in a Musical, Best Set Design, Best Youth Actress, Best Costumes, and that perennial favorite: Best Death Scene. This year’s awards recognize achievements from our 2014 and 2015 seasons. All audience members who attended shows at Cottage Theatre in 2014 or 2015 and all Cottage Theatre volunteers are encouraged to vote.

All votes must be received by midnight on May 1 to be counted. (And, just like in the Presidential election, you may vote only once!) You don't have to vote in every category, so feel free to vote even if you didn't see ALL of the 2014 and 2015 shows.
Spotlight Awards Ballot
This year's Spotlight Awards will recognize your favorite shows and performers from our 2014 and 2015 seasons:
ONLY Two More Weekends!

You've got just eight more chances to see Annie Get Your Gun on our stage. (Well, really just six, as two of those performances are sold out.) Don't miss the show that one patron called "the best show I've ever seen at Cottage Theatre -- and I've been coming here for years!"

Irving Berlin's iconic musical comedy opened on Broadway in 1946 and ran for over a thousand performances. With such well-known songs as “You Can’t Get a Man With a Gun”, “Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better”, and “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” the show is an American musical theatre classic. Don't miss it! There are still tickets available for all our evening shows.

Thanks y'all!
We kicked off our 2016 Annual Fund drive with the opening of Annie Get Your Gun and thanks to a great many of you, we have already raised $30,000 of our $50,000 goal!
To all of those wonderful people who have contributed already, we say "Thanks, pardners!" And if you'd like to keep local community theatre thriving by making your gift today, we say "Yee Haw!"
You can mail your contribution to Cottage Theatre, 700 Village Drive, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.  Or you can give online and save a stamp. Whichever way you give, and whatever amount you give, know that you're helping to keep the magic alive on our stage.
To be or not to be?
That's an easy question! Of course you want to be part of a dramatic classic! Audition for Hamlet and maybe YOU will get to deliver the most famous line in theatre history:  "To be, or not to be; that is the question. . . "
We're looking for 8-10 men and 2-5 women for Shakespeare's murderous tale of royal revenge.
Auditions are Sunday, May 22 at 6:30 pm. Tony Rust directs this production, which runs for three weekends, August 12 - 28. Read more about these auditions.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of our 2016 sponsors . . .
. . . and our hundreds of individual donors. Thank you!
