Degree Certification and Orientation Reminder |
-
Degree Certification for undergraduates will commence on May 26th and Orientation Headquarters will run throughout the Summer. Please keep in mind that during this time College Degree Analysts may have questions regarding a student applicant’s major, minor, or certificate requirements or permission numbers that require a departmental response. We kindly ask that a departmental contact be available during degree certification and orientation, as we may call upon the point of contact to approve an exception or other issue.
- For academic advisors and departmental faculty, please submit any remaining substitutions or waivers for students who have applied to graduate for Spring 2026 as soon as possible – the degree list will be submitted June 12th, 2026.
-
For all course instructors, please keep in mind that if an incomplete grade is assigned for the current semester (May 22nd submission deadline) any incomplete grade assigned to a student graduating this semester will require coursework to be graded before June 12th for the student to use the course(s) toward graduation requirements in Spring 2026. If the student is unable to complete the work by that time, they will have to defer graduation to a future term.

The College does not hold a College-wide ceremony in May. The School of the Arts and some departments hold recognition events. Students should connect with departments directly for more information.
