Family History Month


November is Family History Month. It's important to have conversations with your family about health history and cancer risk. Our form on how to Collect Your Family Cancer History can be a helpful place to start.

Penn Medicine Gets $5.4 Million Grant to Study Genetic Causes of Testicular Cancer

A team of researchers led by Katherine L. Nathanson, MD, Deputy Director of Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center, Director of Genetics for the Basser Center, and the Pearl Basser Professor for BRCA-Related Research, was recently awarded $5.4 million over five years from the National Institutes of Health to continue the long-standing genomics work of the TEsticular CAncer Consortium (TECAC).
