For Employers | Hiring Spring/Summer 2026
Blue Futures Pathways has partnered with the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC-CTIC) to offer wage subsidies for employers hiring students in the ocean and water sectors.
This program reduces hiring costs while connecting employers with diverse, motivated talent. By participating, your organization will play an active role in supporting the next generation of leaders in the Sustainable Blue Economy.

- Up to 50% of a students salary (max $5 000)
- Up to 70% for underrepresented students (max $7 000, for Indigenous persons, newcomers to Canada, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, women studying in STEM and first-year post-secondary students)

Successful applicants will get a chance to participate in an exciting 3-day trip along the Dumoine River with equipment, meals, and transport provided.
Designed for youth aged 18-30 years old, this opportunity will give you a chance to explore the outdoors, learn from experienced conservationists, and take a real step towards working in the environmental sector.

Sarah joins the team as BFP's new Communications Manager.
