Volunteer Spotlight: George Shockey '72 MPhil, '76 JD |
"As a graduate of both the Graduate School and the Law School, I have deep ties to Yale and recognize the transformative experience in both schools. I have had the opportunity in recent years to participate in mentoring graduate students and in fundraising activities for the Yale Alumni Fund. Both are only a small payback for what I received from Yale."
George retired from his career in the legal profession in 2017. Now, he dedicates his time to volunteering for the Alumni Fund, and as a CrossCampus mentor.
