COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sweater weather is here 🍂✨
Happy Fall season, Silver students! Welcome to the Silver Scoop, your student life newsletter! Silver Scoop is the best way to stay up-to-date on how to get involved outside the classroom, build connections within the Silver and NYU communities, and highlight resources to support your well-being at NYU.
As you prepare for midterm exams, the Office of Inclusive Engagement & Student Life (IESL) would like to invite you to bookmark the Silver Student Support and Resource Hub. Here you will find resources on academic support, NYU Courtesy Meals, campus-specific study spaces, and more.Â
Whether you're a new or continuing student, we're here to support you! We encourage you to stop by the Student Affairs suite (1 WSN, Suite G07) to say hello throughout the semester. Our office is open from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays. You can also schedule an appointment with us to explore community engagement opportunities at NYU Silver. Whether you're looking to get involved or need guidance, we're here to help—available for in-person and virtual meetings. We’re excited to connect with you at our events and on social media!

Help Us Shape the Silver Student Art Exhibition Theme!
We’re excited to gear up for the 3rd Annual Silver Student Art Exhibition, where social work students can showcase their artwork. We’d love to have student representatives help us choose this year's theme—no prior art experience needed! If you love community, art, and bringing people together, this is a great opportunity. The time commitment is just 1-2 virtual meetings in October. Email us if you're interested in getting involved!Â
Learn about the NYU Courtesy Meal Program
NYU Courtesy Meals is a short-term, emergency resource for students facing an unexpected financial disruption/situation and cannot afford meals or groceries. Courtesy Meals are accepted at our NYC campus only.
Childcare Subsidy Application
The Fall 2024 Childcare Subsidy Application is now open. To be eligible, graduate students must be enrolled full-time and have a child under six (6) years of age.
