7 Cornell University Press Books Available Open Access on MUSE
Project MUSE, in collaboration with Cornell University Press, has made seven classic titles available as fully-open-access on MUSE. 
Funded via a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities’ (NEH) Humanities Open Book Program, the seven out-of-print titles – none previously available electronically – were selected with input from the Cornell University Library for their enduring scholarly impact. The titles now available on MUSE:
Libraries may add the open access books to their catalogs by downloading a set of free MARC records from MUSE.
2017 Journals Announced
MUSE is pleased to announce the first group of titles confirmed to join MUSE in 2017. All new journals are added to the Premium Collection. The new journals are:
  • Canadian Bulletin of Medical History
  • Florilegium
  • Inks: The Journal of the Comics Studies Society 
  • Mande Studies
  • Native American and Indigenous Studies
  •  Journal of Buddhist Philosophy
MUSE will also be adding select existing journals to the other collections in 2017 as follows:

Hermeneia Book Series Coming in 2017
A critical and historical commentary on the Bible
The Hermeneia commentary series offers authoritative interpretation of the earliest texts of the biblical books and other literature closely related to the Bible. It makes full use of ancient Semitic and classical languages. 
MUSE will offer an initial 50-volume set for purchase in 2017. Details about the series will be announced later in the year.  Contact MUSE for more information.
