Welcome     Grow     Serve    Celebrate

This Sunday, Worship at 10:00 am

Join us at 10:00 am Sunday, July 5 as we worship by sharing table. We will sing, pray, fellowship and share table as we gather together for worship. Church will provide the drinks. Please bring a breakfast dish to share. No Sunday School and no livestream.

Friday, July 3 we need your help!
Anne Marie, Cortez, and Tezzi need help moving their boxes up a flight of stairs and inside their apartment in Ridgeland. If you are available, we hope to see you at 9:00 am Friday, July 3 or whatever time you can spare that morning. Many hands make light work. Let's continue to show Anne Marie and her family a warm welcome.
During July, we will hear from some of our PHUMC members as they share what their go-to VBS story would be and why. I hope this time together brings back some good VBS memories of your own and inspires you to reflect on your own go-to VBS story.

Please be in prayer for our 13 youth and 3 adults as they depart Sunday, July 5 for their summer mission experience with Mountain T.O.P. in Tennessee. They will end the week whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and return home Sunday, July 12. May they find joy in serving and new experiences, make good memories and new friends, and find a deeper connection to God and one another.
Come get to know Tezzi!
We are so excited to have Anne Marie join our staff as Minister for Youth and Outreach Ministries but we are also excited to welcome Cortez and little Tezzi.  We invite all of our PHUMC kids to come meet and play with Tezzi Thursday, July 16 from 4 to 6 pm at the pool at the Club at Township. Parents must stay. Sign in at the front desk when you arrive. Light snacks will be provided. Hope to see you there!
Update on our Building Projects
After a recent downpour at the end of service, many were wondering, "What about that covered drop-off?"  We recently had a soil sample done to make sure all is well to proceed. The soil sample came back great, and we are currently waiting on the finalized plans from the architect, Jospeh Orr, so we can get bids and begin the construction on this as well as the repair work to our two steeple areas.  On our church work day, we went ahead and cut down the two trees that would need to be removed, and unfortunately we will need to relocate our Little Free Library. There are many steps still to be done.  We invite you to stop by the table in the foyer of the Worship Center to look at an old picture projection of the church as it was beginning. You will see the porte cochere represented. You can also look at drawings from the architect of the proposed plan. We give thanks for the ways many of you have already given, and continue to give, to support our projected building projects. As of today, we have received $28,800.00 designated for building projects.
Sunday Morning Summer Fun
During the summer months our PHUMC kids, preK-3 through rising 5th, are meeting together in the Garden Room at 9:30 for a time of faith development and fun. Throughout July, they will discover ways to use their own voice to share about Jesus as they look at characters found in the Book of Acts. We’ve got some fun themes for each Sunday to go alongside these stories, so check out our game plan and come learn and grow this summer with your PHUMC friends.
