Join us Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30 pm for a church-wide, family-friendly shrimp boil!  We'll fire up the burners and boil lots of  shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausages! (There will be a sandwich option for the kiddos.)  Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and plan to spend a lovely summer evening listening to music and sharing a meal with your church family.  Games like horseshoes and badminton will be set up on the lawn for all to enjoy.
Our Wonderful Youth have committed to help serve, clean-up, and refill drinks!  Donations above the cost of the meal will benefit our youth program - so please give generously!

 Wayne Jones shared with us that there are many foster children who have to carry their belongings in trash bags as they move from home to home.  He has issued a challenge to our congregation to do something about this!  If you have some luggage you no longer need, (gently-used suitcases, duffel bags, or even backpacks), please consider dropping them by the church office-  Wayne will make sure they get to the children who need them.  (Put your name and address inside the bag if you would like a tax acknowledgement receipt.)  Thank you for continuing to share the love of Christ in such creative ways! 

Our Youth have a lot to teach us about not just GOING to church, but BEING the church!  Tuesday, this group delivered notes of encouragement along with goodie bags packed with flowers, snacks and treats to a low-income neighborhood in Canton. EVERYONE received a blessing!
