Tri-County Suburban Introduces Text Messaging Service to Reach Members Instantly đź””
Beginning this summer, members of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® will begin to receive news, updates, and special announcements right to the palm of their hands via SMS text message.
This new SMS service is a high-priority communication tool designed to meet REALTORS® where they are—mobile. As a valuable benefit, it ensures that members stay informed about crucial updates in real-time. The service will be used sparingly, reserved for the most important communications such as legislative calls-to-action, dues billing reminders, class cancellations, and other urgent announcements.Â
Messages and data rates may apply. Members, not TCSR or its service providers, are responsible for payment of such charges. For help with text messages, email info@tcsr.realtor or call TCSR at 610-560-4800.Â

REALTOR® Happy Hour and Expo Highlights and Winners
Tri-County's REALTOR® Happy Hour and Affiliate Expo was a tremendous success, drawing over 100 members for a fun time at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester last Thursday. We were happy to welcome members who joined the business less than a month ago to Board of Directors members, members who have been a part of the association for over a decade, Chairman of the Board Michael Maerten, and Chairman Elect Michael Howell, Association staff, and more.Â

Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, 2024 for Independence Day. The office will reopen at 8 am on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Boost Your Credentials: Summer Savings on Real Estate Courses
To support your continuous learning, the Association of REALTORS® School is offering
special discounts on many designation and certification courses this summer. Two-day
courses, normally $235, are $189 for a limited time, and one-day certificate
courses, normally $159 are $125 for a limited time. These discounts make it more
affordable to advance your education and gain the credentials that will propel your
career forward.
Upcoming Summer Classes
Real Estate Office Management: Office Management is useful to anyone who is a manager, the person who supervises or directs the conduct of a real estate office. Although required for all broker applicants, this course provides tools that will assist anyone who has some amount of responsibility for directing a company’s financial and human resources. It will help you become better managers, leaders, and communicators in today’s real estate world. *This is a four-day course, and required for PA Broker licensing. July 15th, July 17th, July 22nd, and July 24th; 9:00am - 4:30pm each day.
New-Home Constructions and Buyer Representation: In the New Home
Construction and Buyer Representation certificate course real estate professionals will
gain the product and transaction knowledge needed in order to guide buyer-clients
through the steps and processes for purchase, construction, and customization of a new
home. Among other things, students will learn how to successfully interact with new
home builders and sales representatives in order to protect clients best interest and
grow future business. July 16th; 9:00am - 4:30p
Home Finance Resource (HFR): The Home Finance Resource Certification course is
designed to teach REALTORS® how to explain key pieces of the loan origination
process to clients and confidently answer questions about mortgage options. July 25th;
9:00am - 4:30pm

SRA: Shapiro Announces $266M in Property Tax and Rent Rebates More than 440,000 Pennsylvanians will soon see property tax and rent rebates via direct deposit and mailed checks thanks to a push by Gov. Josh Shapiro. In a visit to Upper Darby on Monday, Shapiro announced the rebates would begin flowing into applicants’ bank accounts on July 1 via the Property Tax/Rent Rebate (PTRR) program. The initial distribution will include about 442,000 rebates totaling $266 million that is going to older homeowners, renters and people with disabilities. Under the expansion of the program, nearly 175,000 more Pennsylvanians are eligible, and the vast majority who qualified in prior years will see their rebates increase.
